Where is justice,
Where can I find
The One who tips the scales of time.
Where is revenge
So sturdy, so true
To avenge the fallen, the wrong subdue.
Can honour be sought
Along the righteous way
Where trod the faint to be justified someday.
Will godliness leave
Bitter roots to be planted
In treasured vineyards too green to regard untended.
And where must hearts
Ripped, torn asunder
repeatedly look for far ahead yonder.
Shall peace befriend them
will healing balm
for a second, to this raging storm bring calm.
